Finally, after I decided to email the agency asking what the hold up on our homestudy approval was, instead of asking our social worker. My first reaction was excitement following immediately by "oh crap this for real now!". Even though I've been buying baby stuff it doesn't seem real that after 5 years of infertility there might finally be a baby in our house! But mostly we're super excited!

Started TTC January 2007 4 failed IUIs, 2 failed IVFs
2012 - Adopted Child #1
2014- Adopted Child #2

2015 - Fostering Child #3

Very exciting!!!! It is a wonderful feeling, isn't it?! It's no longer "if" but "when" you bring your baby home! Congrats!!!

DX: Severe MFI (very low motility) in 2006. 2 IVF's and 1 FET ended in 3 losses. Adopted our baby girl born 10/2/10. FET March 2012= c/p. Officially done with fertIlity treatments. Plan to start adoption process again 2014/2015.

Unable to conceive due to emergency hysterectomy 11/04 Started our adoption journey 4/11 9/29/11- Officially waiting! 5/29/12- Our little boy is born and goes home with us the next day :-)
