Is anyone else NOT having clothing issues yet?

I'm 10 weeks tomorrow, and I still fit into every single pair of pants I own.  I'm not especially bloated, although I have noticed the area around where my uterus ought to be has gotten harder and is ever-so-slightly bulged.

Anyone else NOT hating getting dressed in the morning?  I know it will happen soon enough - but it feels weird to not have ANY issues yet!

  • You're a couple weeks further than I, this is my second PG and I'm not having an issue at all.

  • I still fit in everything, but I'm plus-sized.  My pants are maybe a tiny bit tighter, but not uncomfortable.  I'm only a little bit bloated as well.  I can feel my uterus and my insides feel heavier but not sticking out yet I guess.Smile

  • My clothes are fitting OK too.  Other than jeans but I think they were a little tight before I was pg!  I also find that my bloat changes through the day.  I'm less bloated when I wake up in the morning but it's there by lunch time!

  • Hi. I'm new here. :-) Well, I'm only 6 weeks, but yeah, everything still fits great. (But could I say that in four weeks from now? ;-) :-) Are you eating healthy? I think that helps a bit... not overdoing it with sugar. Salty stuff makes me bloat and drinking plenty of water helps us and the baby. As far as clothing though, I'm only having bra issues.

  • I don't think it's that weird to not have these issues yet (especially if you have a tone tummy and this is your first pregnancy?).  This is really the first week that I've noticed any difference & I'm thinking it could be bloat combined with a slightly enlarged uterus ( I'm not as toned as I used to be, sadly).  I can still fit in my clothes.  They just feel uncomfortable and I feel fat, personally.  I bet no one else would even notice, but I do.  It's like I feel like I can not suck-it-in anymore Big Smile  I have been wearing leggings and looser fitting tops / dresses just for comfort reasons.

  • Still fitting into things ok here. My jeans were a little tight before the BFP, so they're not exactly comfortable anymore, but I can still get into them without risking a flying button.

  • I'm not having issues yet, but considering I've already gained a bit of weight (Crying), my jeans do feel ever so slightly snugger.

  • My clothes fit comfortable everywhere but the waistline. I can still button my pants, but I definitely feel squeezed.

  • I've always fluctuated about 5 lbs so I just feel like I'm hAving a fat day. Clothes aren't really fitting much different than they did before but I am not looking forward to that day!

  • This is my 2nd pregnancy. I fit into everything just the same as well. Im only 1lb heavier than I was before my DD

Everybody is different, and gains weight different on their body.

  • This is my 2nd pregnancy and I feel like I'm growing faster than the first time around, but so far I'm still fitting everything just fine. I've only put on about a pound so far. I think it's pretty normal because the baby is still so little right now!

  • The only pants I have a hard time with are the ones that were already snug before I got pregnant. Most of my clothes fit just fine right now. Honestly, I think my boobs have grown more than my belly so far.

This is me. Having a fat day. Anything that hits right at my waist and was snug in the past is extra snug now. I have pulled a couple of pants from my rotation because they're kind of high waisted and tight.

  • Nope...not yet :) But having gained about some weight in the last year I hate getting dressed anyway.  LOL!
  • I'm not having too many issues. Some straight dresses and pencil skirts are a little tight in the butt..but I'm attributing that to the fact that they're pulling in the lower stomach a little more. I have had a few days where my lower belly bloats and balloons a bit after I eat.

I have noticed that some bras are tighter and creating a couple bumps in my back.

I'm trying to keep up with my workouts and eat right..but the fatigue and nausea are making hitting the gym every day sometimes hard

  • Im not having typical problems. I have lost almost 60lbs since having DS (gained 18 over the pregnancy) and was waiting until summer to buy clothes that fit, now that we are pregnant, I dont know what to do. My clothes are falling off of me. The pants all sit so low that my bloat is not effected..

People keep telling me I need to buy new clothes....

    This.

I also took my work pants out of rotation, where the waist hits is just not comfortable anymore. But my jeans fit just fine.

  • I've already had to buy some bigger sized clothes. Sad But at least my boobs are taking the focus off my bloated belly! Big Smile

  • Not as far along as you this time but with my 1st pregnancy I could still wear and button my skinny jeans at 5 months pregnant.  At 6 months I could still easily hide my bump with a jacket or sweatshirt.  You'll get bigger eventually so enjoy it now!

  • I'm only 6 weeks, but still fit into evrerything.  My bras are a little fuller, but still fit fine, and I have to wear 2 sports bras to stay comfy.  But pants are all still fine. I think I've gained 2 pounds so far, I was super hungry all the time the last 2 weeks, but this week don't want to eat anything, so we'll see how this develops...

  • With my first pregnancy I was wearing regular clothes until 22wks.  I pretty much looked completely normal until well into the 2nd try.  The more pregnancies you've had, the sooner you will show.  I wouldn't worry about it at all!!  Be happy!!!
