38 week appt cancelled :(

So I was super excited to have me 38 week appt today, it was going to be the first time they were going to check me and I really wanted to see if I have had any progress at all. Well, 15 minutes before the appt center closed last night they left a message on my phone that they had to cancel and of course I didnt listen to the message until after they were closed. My husband finally was able to get the time off so he could come, what a waste. I called this morning right when they opened and they are suppose to call me back if they can get me in with someone else. Im so frustrated, I was so excited to see if I had dilated at all even if it was only 2cm.

    Look on the birght side, being dilated tells you nothing. Being not dilated tells you nothing. But, it's still very likely that if you weren't dilated, you'd get severely dissapointed, like I am. I KNOW it means nothing, and yet here I am watching people with due dates much further away (I'm passed mine) talk about their progress and dilation and feel very bitter. You are better off not knowing.
