There is plenty to do on the cape other than the beach.
Do you guys ride bikes? There is a rail trail that runs down most of the cap with very little road riding that is a great thing to do for part of a day or a whole day. There are bike rental places all over.
Dune tours out in P-town there is a company that does dune tours where they take you out in suvs and ride around the dunes. I look forward to taking E it looks like fun but she is not quite old enough.

Re: 2brides
Great suggestions SSG! We've done all of those things and loved them.
To me, Cape Cod is the ultimate family vacation - plenty to do but still so relaxing.

thanks! The houses that I found were on the opposite end of the cape (New Seabury) and Google Maps said it was 1hr 20m from P-town. I am trying to find a place that has a pool/pool access since the boys aren't beachy people and there really isn't anything in P-town with a pool for under $10k a week!
Other areas on the Cape that you would recommend? Perhaps that are centrally located?
We ride bikes, but the kids don't - actually they hate their bikes. Sigh. I talked to L about P-town and she wants to go when the boys are older and can ride around on their bikes.
