Ugh sunburn - be careful out there

So I got one of those emails yesterday that tells you all about your pregnancy.  It said "use caution when in the sun because pregnancy can make your skin more sensitive".

I got that email about 2 hours too late.  I'm fried.  I had moisturizer on that has SPF15 in it, and my makeup has SPF too.  But I now have raccoon eyes where my sunglasses were and my ear is on fire.  Lips too.  I look like I was at the beach for 3 days.

*sigh*

Learn from my mistakes ladies - wear a heavy duty sunscreen, even in the north, in April.

  • I know how you feel. I took the kids camping this weekend and came home burned up! Here it is Wednesday and the stinging is finally going away, Thank Goodness!!! Hope you get to feeling better! Use lots of Aloe Vera Gel and Cocoa Butter lotion. It should help!
