I am in north central Idaho. It is mountain time in the southern part of the state but us northerners are on Pacific time. I would love to visit Vancouver sometime! My BIL went to grad school there and my SIL is from there.

I'm a recent transplant so if you have any recommendations for outstanding food, I'd love some suggestions. I'm in Santa Cruz, but have to travel to SJ and SF for culture, food and shopping.

I'm in San Jose (big surprise with the screen name, I know)...joolz, DH and I are DYING to follow the Sharks on a Canadian road trip when he gets back from deployment-especially looking forward to Vancouver...are tickets as hard to get there as I've heard?

They are always sold out but you're in luck as both my husband and I have season tickets (long story - we both share with other people obviously) so if you're planning a trip I bet I can find you guys tickets and meet you for drinks and recommend a babysitter while you're here!

We also met a bunch of the Sharks during the Olympics - Danny Boyle's mom was obsessed with my husband (really unintentionally braggy, we have a friend who worked for team Canada so we massively lucked out). They were super great.

I will get my sht together and pm you an Olympics story. It may or may not involve Danny Heatley doing it to a waitress in the bathroom after the gold medal game. Although you may not love him anymore now that he's with the Wild.

Yes! Looking forward to the story. I never really loved Heatley, but I may change my mind after hearing about his waitress-banging shenanigans. I hold no ill-will toward the Wild. On that note, I'm off to dream of my Canadian vacation...

Hey ladies, sorry, I went to bed early last night. Western Washington State here. Looks like there is a newbie on here that said Seattle, however in her siggy it says "I eat babies". What does that mean?
