Anyone have a good suggestion for a crossover or larger sedan that can fit 3 carseats across the back? I'm looking at the Venza - bonus points if you have one and 3 seats
I can't recommend one but I can tell you that while I CAN get 3 seats across the back of my Honda Accord (if you use the belt to install instead of the latch system) I REALLY don't recommend it.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
I think you can get 3 across in a lot of cars, with the right carseats (like Radians/Dionos are really narrow). Try searching 3 carseats across+ make of cars you're interested in. I've seen lots of helpful configurations that way.
We have been able to fit 3 carseats across most vehicles that we've owned and/or rented. We have the Radians and before that Britax Roundabouts.
Here are the cars we've had success with...Toyota Landcruiser, Toyota Highlander, Volvo S90, Mercedes GL, Mercedes E Wagon, Subaru Outback. I know there have been a few other rental cars, but I can't remember all of the makes/models right now.

There's a picture of a Corolla with three across. You probably have to use the seatbelts instead of latch for at least some of the seats, and then just try it out at the dealership with your seats. If they don't work, you might have to try different seats like the Radians.
