Dropped baby :( and Update on testing from last week

I was getting LO ready for a nap, when I tripped over the ottoman in the nursery. I went down and baby went down on his head. Needless to say I was a mess longer than baby was. Thankfully he is fine now, we are playing in his activity mat since doctor said he has to be up for an hour. Ladies, be careful, dropping your baby is no fun!

Also update on our tests from last week.I posted about needing further testing per his newborn screening coming back abnormal.  Everything came back normal.

    Omigosh!  This is my biggest fear every time I go down the stairs.  I'm glad you and your LO are okay!

    I am so sorry you had to go through that  :(  I caught DS1's eyelid on my necklace when he was a month old and I still remember how terrible I felt!  Luckily the little ones are very durable, much more so than we think!  Remember that you are a great mom, everyone injures their baby in some way in the first 6 months!

    HOLY MOLY. 

    The same thing just happened to me. Honest. I tripped over my dog and the baby and I went down. I think I cradled his head in my hand, because my hand is throbbing. I was (and still am) scared. My poor boy cried like crazy but is just fine now.

    I slipped on the stairs this AM.. thankfully it was just on the bottom stair so I just kinda landed on my feet anyways, but it made me think about how much worse it could have been!

    That's so scary! I'm glad LO is ok! My dog tries to run upstairs whenever I'm walking up them, I'm terrified that one day he's going to trip me when I'm holding DD :(

    O geez! I tripped over the bouncer last week while holding DD, but luckily caught myself.  was so scared we were both goin down! Glad everyone is ok.

    Same here, except with me I have two dogs. I always make sure they're ahead of me.

    That is so scary and one of my biggest fears with both kids. Glad you are both ok.
