I have not put too much thought into it - but most likely we will just have a small backyard bbq for immediate family

Somewhere between terror and excitement. I am trying to prepare by not having too many expectations and just seeing how it goes.

God, 31 weeks here too. Craziness.
Probably just small family do for the birthday. Backyard with family.
I wanted to be an "author".
No ringtone, just the blackberry ringer.
Labour... at this point just hopeful that it won't be too bad. I'm trying to remain positive.

Not large enough to be catered. Just family and friends. We'll hold it in my husband's family church.
So many, many things. I could never decide and still can't. lol

I had not spent a single second thinking about this until right now, but seeing everybody else's "backyard bbqs" makes me excited about having a little outdoor summer party.

Really excited! DH is way more nervous than me about the whole thing and for his sake, I just want to get through it and let him see that everything will be fine, but I'm excited about the whole process. I still feel like I have a lot to do to get ready though.

I am nervous and worried. What if I mess up lol. I know I know. Yet, I want the experience. I just didn?t like the recovery after my c-section.

Not at all. We will be back home in Vancouver and will probably have a big family party at my parent's or DH's parents house. My family isn't a "rental hall party" kind of family.

*Bonus* Labor - how are you feeling about the big day? Always been nervous when I thought about it, but the more birth stories I read, the worse I get. Like the violent shaking during labor, possible chronic migranes for the ret of your life from the epi, of course worse fear is something going wrong with LO, and a handful of women had Post Pardum Femoral Neuropathy where they didn't have normal use of their legs sometimes for a year after birth...umm no not ok). I am a worrier by nature so of course I am going to think of all the bad things that COULD happen. I suck

Hell no. Overblown baby parties = personal nightmare. Unless you are Teresa from RHONJ and have Marie Antoinette serving sushi. Then I might be able to get down. I am thinking a tiny cake in the park with just me, DH and DD.

It was a bunch of realistic aspirations like... ballerina or President.

-I'm not nervous about the labor part at all because I've been through it before. However, this time the hospital is an hour and a half away, so I'm freaking out about that! Plus, my DH works 50 minutes away, so for him to get home and then get to the hospital, it will take about 2 and 1/2 hours...IF the traffic is GOOD! (the hospital is in downtown Baltimore!)

Impatient, I guess. After months of not feeling all that great and not feeling all that connected, I'm suddenly very joyful and yearning to hold my little girl. Have been reading up on labor lately and it seems to be getting me in a lot less apprehensive mindframe, and more confident that I can handle it.
