Apparently Baby is doing his best to press up on my chest area right now. I can hardly breathe and I have a searing pain on my right rib cage. I feel like crying-it just hurts so bad!
But I feel like this weekend, I was thinking how great my chest area felt-I could breathe, my ribs weren't hurting so bad, etc.
Does the baby go up and down? And if so, why doesn't gravity keep the baby as low as possible in the uterus? I know there is fluid, but does he/she really have that much control over their position? I just want someone to come over and start pushing down on my bump. Go down, baby, go down!!!
Re: And I'm spent
I was reading on the Bump email update that this is normal around 31 weeks, and that in a few weeks your bump should "drop." Dude, between the reflux, my new skin sensitivities and not having full lung capacity I am OVER IT!
At least Game of Thrones is back!!!!
'Over it' is a very valid way to explain how I feel!
My office is really good about 'wellness', and I realized we had a massage guy here yesterday afternoon. I threw money at the problem and he gave me a heavenly 30 minute massage on my upper and lower back. This helped stretch out my rib cage area and my sciatic nerve. For 30 minutes at least. I think Baby was frustrated that all his squishing work was being undone, because he didn't stop kicking the entire time.
I also found out this morning that the reason my lower right rib area hurts is because Baby is repeatedly kicking it. I can't feel his kicks individually, but they've bruised the area. Lame.
