Hello - I have been vacant from the board. This past few weeks have been difficult and I have not felt like I have been able to be supportive to others. That being said I wanted to pass this along so maybe another loss momma won't be caught off guard like I was.
My husband took me to see John Carter, a sci-fi movie that came out a few weeks ago. During the previews they played several commercials, usual car and beverage ads. Then comes on a commercial showing pictures of a newborn baby with a father voice speaking over it saying how upset he was when he lost his newborns pictures. Pictures!! Seriously!! I lost it and started crying. There were too many cute little baby pictures to handle. It was a Google commercial about saving pictures online.
It caught me way off guard. I didn't expect to cry at a sci-fi movie. Anyways, I wanted to give you guys a heads up. After losing the twins, losing pictures of a baby that you get to hold and snuggle, just seems so trivial. I would give anything to have my babies back.
