Belly Bandit

Hi Ladies,

 Have any of you used a belly bandit?  I was gifted one from a friend but it's too big so I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to buy one.  Anyone need one in size large?

    I tried one but all it did was ride up.  I really wanted the compression on the lower part of my belly (where it was all out of whack)  but it kept riding up and the lower part would just hang out the bottom.  I gave up.  It did feel really good though.

    I looked into these and after doing a little research I ended up buying a $5 compression belt from walmart. I can adjust it to fit as tight or loose as I want and because the inside is a little rubbery(?) it doesn't ride up.

    I just asked for this at the hospital - I didn't use the brand name, just explained what I wanted.  The nurse thought I was nuts, but she got it for me and then made some snarky comments about how only c-section patients and a certain ethnic group ask for these.  It did ride up, but it also made it easier to tote around the saggy belly.  I only used it my last day in the hospital and my first day or two home.

    I like mine.  It's pretty comfortable and helps me fit into my pre-preg jeans.

    I got a Belly Bandit after I had my lil one.  LOVED IT!!  Just a recommendation...do your research.  I went to Target cause i heard they had cheaper ones there.  You get what you pay for I guess!  It was awful...felt like i was wearing an ace bandage. :o( 

    I went on the website www.bellybandit.com and got mine on a special.  You should check it out!  They have a section on the site that tells you how to pick out the style and size for your body.  Worked for me and I'd do it all over again.  It was worth EVERY penny!
