babywearing and pushing a stroller?

I am about to have baby #2 and I am hesitant to buy a double stroller. We aren't ttc again for another 3 years so I wondering how much use I will get out of it with a 3 y/o and a newborn.  What would you guys do? We walk a lot. Is it easy to baby wear and push a stroller?

    The only time I've ever used my stroller is when I'm wearing LO in the Ergo and pushing his diaper bag and my purse and shopping bags in the stroller (like, at the mall if I really need to shop, I need something to carry our bags of stuff).  So I imagine if/when there's another, I'll do the same thing.  I am mad I bought a stroller at all, so I really don't foresee buying a double.

    This is what I'm doing.  It has been pretty easy so far.  I may get a double stroller though, for when I have a 1 and 2 year old.  I haven't decided just yet.

    I never had any problems doing both. But we have a Phil & Ted, which has a second seat you can add on or take off really easily. Our kids are about 2.5 yrs apart, and I used it as a double a ton last summer and fall.

    I have been doing just that since DS was born. It's easy for me. I may invest in a sit and stand next year for things like the zoo, long walks, etc, but I don't know if it will be necessary so I'm waiting. We have a really nice wagon which may be ample for that sort of thing when DS is big enough.

    I don't really foresee a huge need for a stroller for us since DS will be 3.5 when the newbie arrives, we rarely use a stroller now, and DS often chooses to walk on his own.

    But, yeah, we plan to do exactly that, BW and push the stroller when needed.  We just have a lightweight Jeep brand stroller, and it's very maneuverable.  I don't think we'll have any issues.

    I wear baby and use the stroller as a shopping cart all the time. Totally doable, and your new LO will love being close to you.
