What plans do you have for your "last days" before LO?

So I am scheduled for an induction (gd) next week wed......8 days in counting.    I am trying to figure out what to do before the baby comes.    I have been spending time with DD#1, eating out, getting her room together, etc.

What have you ladies been doing and or done already?

  • I'll be spending a good 4 days with her before my c-sec... I'm getting my nails done Friday morning so I'll bring her with me ... I'll let them paint her if she wants them done to feel special... we'll do the park stuff and just spend some good time together...

  • I took a vacation day this Thursday, H and I are going to go to a movie and get lunch while DS#1 is in daycare and this Friday I am getting my brows waxed. That's about it! LOL!

  • I'm spending as much time reading as possible. I have this feeling that reading a good book will be more difficult after LO gets here, so I'm getting extra reading done now while I can.

  • I am taking a few half days at work and going to get some pampering done. . .
Haircut, one last prenatal massage, pedi.

And then DH and I have been going to the movies a few times (even braved the hunger games tweens).  Other than that, we've kind of filled our calendar with some dinners with friends, a few parties, etc.

  • I will be working the day I am to be induced so I don't have any super big plans for the last couple of days but the week before I am going to a charity trivia event, having my nails done one last time before I'm laid up, and trying to finish the Game of Thrones books.  Agreeing with the poster above, I bet my time to read plummets after D-Day
  • Taking care of my other two kids. ;)  lol  In all honesty though I'm trying to give them as many snuggles as I can over the next few days.  Especially my youngest.  She's going to have a really hard time adjusting to the new baby and not having my full attention.  I feel a little bad for her that she gets thrown into the big sister roll long before she's ready.
  • I got my hair and eyebrows done, which makes me feel WORLDS better.  I'm going out for coffee with friends, and if I make it to my due date, I've got a book club to attend.  Aside from that, I'm just cooking things to freeze, cleaning house, and trying to get all "prepared" for the big day.
