I took Leo to the pediatrician today because I thought he had another ear infection. We sat in the sick children waiting room, sucking in all those germs, just to find that his ears are perfect, but he's cutting several teeth.

UGH, what a dummie! I feel like a rookie mom!

He does also have a rash, the doc said it may be very mild chicken pox, but she's not certain. Harumph, so that was a waste of a co-pay!

Don't feel bad- its so hard to really know whats going on when they fuss. They only way to find out for sure is to take them in.. and that's awesome that its not an ear infection!

no! not an idiot! just be glad it's not another EI. i wish i could go in with a suspected EI and walk out with just "teething". but, yeah, i feel ya on the copay. blech!

No way, you are not an idiot. You did the right thing, taking him in. A rookie mom would have figured it was nothing and just ignored it. At least now you know you can give him a drop of Tylenol and help out!
