I know they aren't big fans of Harper over there and DH isn't wantin to discuss names until we know the gender. What sibling names do you like for Harper Ella ? Last name is pronounced 'hide'. For a boy, Andrew will like be the first name but if something better comes along it can easily be the middle. (it's DHs middle name)

Our previous girl list was Ingrid, Ava or Avery, and Elise. None of them are really ruled out but non are really top contenders in mind.

I think Harper is a pretty name for a girl (I'm not a fan for a boy name).

I love Elise and Ingrid!

Ava is too popular for me, and Avery is NMS.

I still really like Ingrid but now have a niece named Imogene and I'm concerned they are too similar. I'm just not crazy about any of the lists I guess though I do love the idea of a little boy named Drew

Me too. Ingrid is just so classic and elegant, and you don't hear it ever, it seems.

I also always think of Vivian/Vivienne when I hear Ingrid. Probably because my mind immediately goes to legendary Hollywood actresses - Ingrid Bergman and Vivian Leigh.

Oh, come on. Ask on baby names. They're not scary, and they're not going to mock a name you've already used on your kid - that's super taboo over there. I think you'll get great suggestions, too.

I was going to say the same thing. They don't judge named babies of posters. I think your list will go over fine with the exception of Avery.

Ava is too popular for me, what about Ada.

Other names I like: Emmeline, Lucille, Adeline, Corrine, Esme, Eloise (nn Elsie)

Andrew is a great boys name!

I have a friend whose DD is Harper Paige. I like all of your name choices, but I don't like Ella with Harper. I don't think it flows great. I hate telling people when I don't like a name choice, but you did ask. That is just my personal opinion :-)

Wow some really beautiful girl names were suggested and which I never thought of. I have had my girl name picked out for a very long time - Abigail August - it's the boy names I'm stuck on. My fiance and I can not agree on any boy name. I've always wanted to name my boy Charlie Dean, but he's not too fond of that name so I guess we'll wait to see what we're having before I start stressing.

That is pretty close to Charlie Sheen Stick out tongue . Maybe something more like Charles Dylan (nn Charlie).

I love Harper but it sounds too much like Carter (DS) so I had to take it off the list. But DD is Brynn and if this baby is a girl she will be Emerson.

And I agree with mlf... just post over there!
