Let's get this thing planned :-)
One idea thrown out there was to meet in Central Park and go to the Central Park zoo. Here are some pros I can think of: near Madison Square Garden and the Amtrak station (is anyone taking Amtrak?), the park has plenty of space to let the kids run, playgrounds, etc. And most importantly Roy, Silo, and Tango live there (And Tango Makes Three..anyone??)
Tickets are $18 for the full experience and $13 for just the zoo (kids 3+ are $13 or $7). Kids under 3 are free. However parking is garage parking which can be very pricey.
Another idea is the Bronx Zoo. I haven't been to the Bronx so I can't really add to much to this one . The full experience tickets are $29.95 for adults. $19.95 for kids 3+ and under 3 are free. General tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for kids 3+. All day parking is $13.
And I'll throw this one out as well - the NY Aquarium. It is located in Brooklyn and has its own parking lot ($13). Tickets are $19.95 ($15.95 kids 3+) for the full experience of $14.95 ($10.95 kids 3+) for general admission. Kids under 3 are free. I suppose the pros are that it has its own parking lot and that it is indoors in the case that the weather is bad. Also the Aquarium is part of Coney Island which means there would be a cool spot to walk around before/after and beach food we can grab and go with.
Thoughts? Should I set up a clicky poll?

The aquarium is really small. Other than the walrus/ seal show it doesn't have much.
Either of the other ideas are fine with me. Or if anyone else comes up with anything.
