discharge TMI

in 3rd Trimester

Hi ladies. Last couple of days I notice a bit more discharge that I've usually had. Its kind of watery but also has like a creamy white consistency to it. I don't have any BH and baby is moving a lot. No pain no nothing. So is this just normal discharge now that I'm getting farther along? Its not a huge amount or anything. Anyone else get something like this too?

    I read that in the 3rd trimester your discharge becomes heavier and has a creamy or jelly-like consistancy, so I wasn't too worried when I noticed that for me it got heavier.  I think it is all normal unless you notice an unpleasant smell or an itching/burning sensation.  Leaking amniotic fluid would be something you would notice b/c it would soak you consistantly and I've heard it has a sweet smell.

    Same here.  I asked my doctor and she said it was normal.

    Totally normal.  Time to break out the pantyliners.  It only gets grosser from here, lol.

    I agree!  I started using pantyliners at ~30 weeks.  Sounds normal and is what happened with me.  My doctor said it was normal.

    I have felt like a leaky faucet the last couple of weeks. Totally normal.

    And it gets worse when you sleep and then get up in the morning, it almost drips out... yuck!

    Totally normal. Several weeks ago on a crowded elevator I coughed and thought I peed myself because enough discharge came out to soak my underwear, but it had the same consistency that you've described. So yeah, I second the recommendations to wear a pantiliner, although for me at least it's gotten better in the past few weeks. :)
