I only recall candy as well. Maybe a chapstick or little stuffed animal bunny or chick but nothing crazy. I told my husband I refuse to go overboard with Easter baskets and have it become like a second Christmas. Enough is enough! lol
Candy. Once in a while, a single small gift. My mom hand made the chocolate bunnies and peanut butter eggs. My kids aren't that lucky b/c I'm just not that motivated. :-P
candy and some toys usually. Hell, one year I got a typewriter and another year luggage. My mom was loony-tunes around any holiday and always went overboard.

Just what every girl dreams of!! LOL
Seriously! Odd how my parents used my typewriter way more than I did for a long time.
TONS of candy, some of the eggs we dyed, and usually a small stuffed bunny, chick or lamb - mainly because we always asked for live ones and that wasn't happening! When we got older, she put $5s and $10s in our plastic eggs...that was a huge hit when she sent me an easter basket in college!!

I don't think I ever received an Easter basket! I think that is why I am not big on them for DS. I am going to do one this year, but did not do one the first few years. We did celebrate Easter but no basket.

Candy, candy, the eggs we dyed, and um, more candy
I know we got a stuffed bunny once or twice, but in general it was usually all about the sugar.
