Ugh! its so boring i have nothing to do im not aloud to go anywere or do anything! so ive just been playing sims all day for the last few days i wanna do something creative but im not very good at a lot of things i can sew does anyone know were you can get a sewing kit like that has the fabric and pattern together i have everything else, anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to pass the time???

And on top of that my boss called and fired me today so yay....(complete sarcasim!) and i still have my baby shower in 3 weeks and im not not gonna go ive been looking so forward to it!

    I am on bedrest as well.  Originally, I was on hospital bedrest from this past Thursday.  And I asked to be released on Saturday for home bedrest.  My obgyn faxed in the papers that authorize that I am on hospital/home bedrest, so my supervisor said that everything was fine with my job. 

    Was there a reason that you were fired?   Or does the company that you work with not have a medical leave policy?

Baby measured 9 weeks, still a heartbeat 12/23/09. Good NT Scan on 1/8/10, heartbeat 164. EDD 7/28/10. TEAM BLUE! Aidan Thomas born on May 26, 2010. Baby #2, BFP 11/27/11, EDD 6/5/12. TEAM PINK! Noelle Elizabeth born 4/30/12. Blessing from God, Blessing from God, Blessing from God, Blessing from God.

    Well this thursday i will find out if i have to do hospital bedrest which im gonna say would be 10 times worse, im sorry to hear that you were. There wasnt any particular reason she fired me. I worked in retail so i guess i kind of expected it you can never be sure with retail. but it all just happend today so it was kinda like a double whamy for me today

    That really sucks about your job.  Definitely file for unemployment.  Do you have benefits through your DH's job?  Or are you now on your own for medical?

    If you promise to sit and not lift anything - maybe your doctor will give you permission to go to your shower.  Three weeks gives you some time.

    Could you have someone go out and get the supplies for you?  You could select your pattern online and give them an idea of the fabric, thread, etc you would want.

    I've been on bedrest for almost 6 weeks now (4 of them in the hospital) so I feel your pain! It's tough... not being able to do anything and having to rely on everyone else really sucks most of the time! 

    The internet is your BFF though... i joined Amazon Moms and have been enjoying the free shipping, so i've been able to order things to keep me busy. DH goes to the library a lot for me too... getting books and DVD's from there. I spend a good majority of my days in and out of doctor's appointments and the hospital (they keep sending me back for steroids, monitoring, etc), so honestly I'm happy for the downtime by time I get home.  

    My doctor did say that if I am still pregnant, she would sign me out of the hospital for the day to go to my shower which is in 3 weeks. But I'm hoping to still be on home bedrest then. Ask your OB... it can't hurt! 

    ETA: About losing your job - did they say why they let you go? You might have recourse for that. They can't let you go based on you being out on disability.

    I'm sorry about your job. :( Definitely file for unemployment as soon as you can.

     I don't know anything about sewing but I think that would be a good hobby to pass the time. You could also read books, watch movies or tv series.
