I just put the guest list together for DD's birthday party...81 people! 81!!!!!
That is just our immediately aunts & uncles & cousins.
There is literally no way for us to cut it down either. I'm praying most of the cousins who are in their late teens and early 20's RSVP no.
Re: 1st B-day Guest List Count
Yeah I think ours is going to be big. I would like to do it at home but not sure if we can fit that many people here. DH isn't helpful with location ideas either....
I'd like to be able to do it outside somewhere but not sure if that will happen.
We're definitely doing it at home. I think we've come to an agreement that our aunts & uncles need to go.
You should look into the Chews Landing fire hall.
we're in the 70's. with big families it's hard to cut. plus we have alot of close friends (who i'd rather hang out with to be honest lol!)
Yeah, we have a hall that we've used before in Washington TWP, but was hoping to be able to do something outside. I was looking at renting the gazebo at Veteran's park but not sure if that will work or not.
yep - we are at 67 - which is just 3 shy of our wedding invite list!

My list consist of 100 people, but I am pretty sure not everyone will show. If I were just to do grandparents and aunts/uncles (of DD) there would be 10 people there, I wanted more than that. Once I left that circle though, I felt I couldn't stop without hurt feelings. I just decided to invite the whole family (both side of mine and his). I know that they will not make it #1 on thier list and I am fine with that, but I didn't want to exclue them.
I will not do this past her first birthday, later birthdays will be immediate family, close friends, her friends.
