So baby is almost all done nursing, only nurse twice a day because he self-weaned. I started Crossfit January 1st and started going to the gym in early/mid December. I've been moderating portions and upped my protein for muscle recovery but I haven't done anything crazy and the pounds are just falling off slowly but surely.
I'm down 4 pant sizes so far, two bra band-sizes and one cup size (prob from less nursing plus the weight loss) and down lots of inches as well. I started out seriously overweight/obese and though I have a long way to go, I feel like i've finally found something I can stick with for the rest of my life. I love Crossfit and that it's different every time. When i'm not doing that I like to run and just running once a week in addition to Crossfit 2-4 times a week I've increased my endurance to be able to run 2 miles straight. It would've taken everything I had to run a half mile when I first started, so that says a lot!
I'm so excited about getting down to a normal size, one more pant size and i'll be in non-plus sizes again and it's been 10 years almost since I was in a normal size!
Re: Down 25 lbs since December! Crossfit rocks.
I suppose I should share some better numbers...
At my heaviest pregnancy weight with this baby I weighed 53 pounds more than I do now. I'm down 35 lbs total from my highest non-pregnancy weight, but I had lost 10 lbs before starting my journey this time around in December which is why I say 25 lbs now.
Awesome!! I am new what is crossfit like?
Great job on the weight loss!

Great job, keep it up! I love Crossfit even though the WOD last night nearly killed me.
You can youtube CrossFit videos to get an idea. It's short intense work outs that use your body weight & some strength training. Crossfit dot com links to all the affiliates if you want to look for one in your area. Most boxes offer one free session to try it out before you commit.

Yes! It seem's a little scary. I have done bootcamp's ect.. But I don't know if I could hang!

You COULD hang! I started out at nearly 250 and you just scale everything to what you CAN do..that's the best part about it! You listen to your body and do what's right for you. It's a different workout each time you go so it never gets boring and your body never gets used to it. It's intense, that's true, but it's more about what you put into it. It's not for everyone, but I'd say give it a shot and see if you enjoy it or if it works for you and go from there.
It's not the same as a class where everyone motivates each other but you could still do many WODs at home. Google CF body weight WODs & travel WODs.
