FTM...lets talk teeth! Its that time :)

DS will be 5 months in 4 days. WOW! He has been teething and had blowouts recently that were very runny. I EBF and pump at work. I want try BF when he gets his teeth unless he doesnt learn to not bite! 

Ive just noticed his first tooth under the gum but wondering how long it will take to pop thru. Up until now he didnt have anything showing.

    DD's took about 10 days from the time I saw it until it poked through last night.

    My DS#1 got his first two teeth in the same week (around 6mo).  The gum area turned white before the teeth pushed through.  I don't remember how long it took. 

    DD has been teething too but her gums are still pink (I heard girls are normally earlier than boys with teeth).  She has been biting me like crazy the past few days!

    I just noticed two or three days ago. It still hasn't broken thru yet.

    DS's first tooth actually broke through today. I didn't even see it coming. But now that it has I'm like oooh it makes sense why he was so fussy on Friday.

    I'm terrified about DS biting with teeth. He's been teething for quite some time now and apparently it really bothers him. It seems to go in cycles every few days getting worse then back to tolerable. When it's bad, he'll nurse in a way that makes me very sore (but it doesn't feel like he's biting). As for how long it will take, it can take weeks for a tooth to pop through. I have the feeling that it will take DS a while still to have his break through since he doesn't really keep teething toys in his mouth.

    I feel so dumb because I have no idea if DD is teething.  I don't feel any sharp spots on her gums, but she hasn't been sleeping well.

    I am terrified of BFing once she has teeth.  She can already be pretty brutal!

    Wow, I cant believe it already time for teeth. DD is very drooly but no signs of teeth yet.
