SDs excited about the baby

They got here last night and we told them about the baby and they were really excited. Then DH called his parents and we told them and now they're really excited too. It's a little early on for my taste to be telling everyone but we won't see the kids again until I'm showing and we didn't want to leave it that late. SD1 who is 10 wants to be an interior designer and this morning she designed a room on her sketchpad for the baby if it's a girl. How sweet is that?

On another note, we found out that BM and her boyfriend are looking for a house to move in together. DH knows the boyfriend from high school so at least its not a stranger, and the boyfriend has 4 kids, he shares custody with his 2 exes, but 6 kids will be in the house. I don't know how this is going to work, BM lives with her mom and she leaves the kids with her mom a lot so she can go out at night. Her mom is planning to move in with BMs grandmother 30 minutes away to help take care of her and her house. So...who will be watching the kids? I don't know if BM has thought this aspect through, that she will have to pay for sitters (but she's soooo brokeeeee!) or GASP, not go out so much.

I also found out this morning, the reason she didn't go to SD1s concert is because she was mad at SD1 for complaining about her hair that night, so she stayed at home while her mother went with SD2 to see the concert. I haven't had a chance to tell DH but this whole concert thing is what lit a fire under his butt to look for jobs up there so I think this may double efforts again.
