stroller cover

Hi all,

Getting ready for summer I am hoping for some ideas on what to use for a sun/wind/mosquito/sand cover for the stroller/car seat.

For rainy days I'm scared of the vinyl ones giving off toxic fumes in the sun, or even not in the sun. Any alternatives?

For nice days do people in general feel safe with a polyester netting? I'd rather a natural fabric but is there anything breathable and sheer?

Thanks for any help.

Re: stroller cover

  • Maybe a light colored piece of cotton gauze?

  • I typically use a receiving blanket to cover DDs stroller while in the sun, but I noticed some mesh sun-friendly ones at BRU last week. Not sure what the mesh is made of... I'm thinking I may just add some velcro straps to a blanket so she can't pull it off.
