XP: Veins on LO's cheeks?

Hi - newbie here My dd was born in February and she has had tiny spider looking veins on her cheeks since birth. They are probably only noticeable to me.

I was just wondering if anyone else's lo's had this and if they went away/faded with time. My pediatrician said they would, but she is now 6 weeks and they still look the same.

both of my girls have them. They were very noticeable at birth and I was concerned something was wrong, but they just have extremely fair skin.

In my 2.5 year old they have faded but are still there...she also had a very dark blue vein that went across the bridge of her nose which is still there but also faded...usually by 4 or 5 they all fade away.

My 1 year olds spider veins on her cheeks have faded a little but not as much as my older daughter.

They don't go away till they are older and there skin gets stronger etc. so don't expect them to fade totally until she is preschool age.

my 4.5 yr old DS has very fair skin and you can see one particular vein across his left cheek. It has been visible since birth and still is. I have lost count of how many times someone has asked if it was a bruise.
