We are hoping to embark on a FET with our only two embies, we were blessed with twins in 2010 through IVF/ICSI. I was wondering if anyone had success or not with a natural FET? We moved recently and the state we live in now does offer the natural FET option the clinics in our previous state did not, so this is totally to us. We are MFI (azoo) only so doing things as naturally as possible sounds enticing but I worry we are not giving our embies the best chance? DH does not want to do another IVF/ICSI so this is likely our only chance, if they survive thaw, to expand our family, he will not consider other options such as adoption or donor sperm, sadly. I would love any opinions, stories, advice. I really want this to work. Also did anyone cycle at ORM or RGI both near Columbus, why did you pick your clinic and would you pick them again? Thank you so much, sorry to crash your board, best of luck everyone on your pregnancies it is an amazing journey, enjoy every second

Re: Did anyone have a success with a natural FET?
I did a natural fet, and I actually only had 1 embie. My RE prefers to do them, as long as there aren't issues with ovulation. I'm a patient at corn.ell. He believes it's the most natural environment for the embie, and a bonus of no pio.
There is a lot of monitoring, to pinpoint ovulation, but it's such an easy process. I said it was easier than having sex, bc I didn't even need dh. After lh surge, the embie was transferred back five days later. It was he best decision I ever made. I highly reccomended it. Let me know if u have any specifc questions.
I did! My medicated FET in August/September was a nightmare - my lining wasn't "ready" until CD31, I was on very high dosages of estrace (morning and night), and while I did get pregnant from that cycle, it ended in miscarriage.
This time, I insisted on a natural FET, since I ovulate on my own and my progesterone has always been fine. We did trigger with Ovidrel when my lead follie reached 17mm and my lining was 9mm, but you can do it with opks as well. I got a bfp on Friday, 10dp5dt (tested out the trigger), and my husband and I agreed that this cycle was the easiest and least-stressful cycle that involved fertility treatment.
PM me if you have specific questions, but I'd highly recommend it. Good luck!
BFP - December 31, 2009
18 week ultrasound showed BOY, but several complications. No heartbeat at 19w4d. Stillborn on April 21, 2010
Started seeing an RE December, 2010: 6 failed IUIs, 1 failed IVF
September, 2011: FET, transferred one 3-day embryo = BFP on our anniversary! 6w5d baby measured behind with a low heartbeat (84bpm). 7w5d no heartbeat, no baby in sac. D&C November, 2011.
November, 2011 - March 2012: BREAK. Started gluten-free in February, 2012.
March, 2012: FET, transferred one blast = BFP! Beta #1 = 240, Beta #2 = 550
I hope it is ok if I respond but I want to recommend RGI. Many of the women from these boards who had success did so with RGI over ORM. Dr. James will do everything she can to follow your wishes and their lab staff is fantastic.
I didn't choose RGI, back when I had a tiny bit of IF coverage, Dr. James was the only one in the area covered. Thank goodness! I feel very comfortable there and the staff is very compassionate.
Disclaimer*** Dr. James is pg right now so if you are sensitive to that you might want to wait to meet with her or ask for one of the other doctors who periodically travel from the other locations.
I hope this helps!
