xp: Activity Level after IUI?

I was just wondering if after your IUI did your RE tell you to limit your activity or anything? I know with IVF some RE's have very specific "rules" but I was wondering if any of your RE's did the same for IUI. My doctor did not have me limit anything and my niece has been in town so we have been pretty busy. Just hope that I have not overdone it.

Thanks for any insight.

My RE is very cautious, and my nurse even more so. She told me no high impact exercise, but walking or elliptical was ok. Light weights, no yoga. As far as daily activities though, no limitations. Just eat healthy and avoid alcohol. I'm sure niece time ha been lovely, you didn't over do it unless you and your niece ran a marathon today! GL!

Mine was very similar - except no weights and to keep the heart rate down, ie don't over exert myself.

I usually go to the gym 5 days a week, and although my Dr says its fine to resume normal activity, I don't go during the 2ww. Or if I do go, I stick to walking on the treadmill. I don't really limit my daily household activity at all.

My first one I went right back to work.  The only thing I changed was doing lighter activities at the gym.  My 2nd iui was today (and since it's Sunday) I've just been lounging around afterwards.  I'll still be going to the gym later this week, but taking it easy there.

FWIW, before we started with IUIs I was always a little careful at the gym during the 2WW.
