Is anyone doing something? I used to, but I don't think I'm up for it anymore. Maybe when P gets old enough to be pranked I will start up again though. Stick out tongue

Nah, I've never really done anything for April Fools. The lady over at Once A Month Mom has a cute idea in today's post with a food prank idea. No...but on the radio this morning, they were reminiscing about some of the funniest April Fool's Day pranks from years ago. One was Taco Bell announcing that they bought the Liberty Bell and re-named it the Taco Liberty Bell. People were in an uproar that commercialism was taking over an historic symbol. I don't remember hearing about that at all.

I've never been good with April fool's pranks, but my mom totally got me one year when I was in college. She called and told me she was pregnant. I completely bought it and so shocked.

My BFF told me that for Christmas her aunt makes chocolate covered mashed potatoes for real and expects people to eat them. She said it is disgusting because she didn't tell anyone what was in it and you bite expecting peanut butter or something but you get plain instant mashed potatoes with no seasoning. I thought about doing that as an April Fool's joke but I'm leaving for South Carolina in a few hours so I won't be able to. 2 years ago on April Fool's day I told DH that there was a big assignment I'd forgotten about and I couldn't make it up so I had to take an F and I told everyone else I was pregnant. The next month both came true so needless to say I didn't do anything last year and probably won't this year. Although I might pull the liberty bell on DH lol

I don't do any pranking for April Fools... My grandfather died on 4/1/95 and I thought it was a joke. (He had been diagnosed with cancer 9 days before, so I thought there was no way he could be gone already.) I was in 3rd grade and didn't realize that this isn't something you don't joke about.

I'm sure when Landon is older we will do something, but for right now we always spend time with my grandma on 4/1. It must be so hard to be going on 17 years without the love of your life.
