I know that these are all just small things compared to what so many others here are dealing with. I'm mostly just posting for amusement.
Finally got a rental van last night, after DH waited 2 hours for it (after they called me to say it was ready). Dealership called this morning to tell us that what is wrong with our van (thermostat and engine misfire) is not covered under our warranty. Of course not. So my dad is going to fix it for a fraction of what the dealer would charge, but we have to pay for that stupid rental van that I fought so hard to get.
Then we drive out to St.ride R.ite to exchange Charlie's sandals that are falling apart after only a week. It's about a 30 minute drive, and it is at a mall with a carousel, so it is kind of an event. I called ahead of time to make sure they had the shoes and would exchange. I get them, check the size on the box, and take a peek inside -- looks good. Get home, take them out of the box, and they were mismarked -- they are a size too small. Grrrrr...
Hope the weekend is going more smoothly for everyone else!
Re: This is just not our week (lol).
I hate it when I have days/weeks like that.
This is how I usually deal with it:
Ugh! I would call and speak with a mananger. Maybe they would ship out a pair for you free of charge with return shipping too? Tell them you do not live close by and its hard to get out there. I sold shoes while I was in college and where I worked we would do that for our customers. Hope you have a better week!!
