Pinterest before Grocery Shopping=Dangerous

Does anyone else find themselves going on Pinterest while making your grocery list before going shopping?! This can be danerous.

 My DH is working today and when I go to the store alone, it can be bad news. Last time I bought 4 different boxes of fruit pops and over 5 kinds of cereal.

But...going on Pinterest makes it a little more dangerous.

Do you stick to your list when you shop or end up getting 14,000 add-ons? Just curious!

    I did this last night.  I definitely got a bunch of extra stuff because I had some new Pinterest recipes.  DH is usually okay with it, though, because it means new food for him!

    My biggest weakness is going when I am hungry.  Luckily, we went out to eat before going to the grocery store last night, so we were both full and not tempted by extra stuff.

    Going to the store hungry is definitely the worst for me.  

    When I go without my husband, I stick to the list..(.out of sheer laziness I just want to get out of the grocery store) . But when I go with dh...we just throw stuff in the cart like we have a case of the "munchies", lol.

    I do try to plan my menu for the whole week and then just stick to my list.  But, you are right, Pinterest has some great stuff!  And it's much harder to stick to the list while pregnant, because of my cravings.

    I'm usually pretty good about sticking to my list when I go. But that's only because I don't like grocery shopping so I like to be in & out as fast as possible.
