BF and BC pills. Which one are you using?

So I'm nearly 9 weeks PP and I'm on the fence about which BC pill I want to start taking. I have the mini pill but my OB told me I was safe to take ortho tri cyclen lo. I asked him if it'd affect my milk supply or be potentially harmful to my DD and he said no. Has anyone taken a progesterone/estrogen BC pill while BF? And was it successful?

    I'm 7 weeks pp, and I started Lo Lo-Esterin this week. So far I like it, but I had to get samples from my OB bc my insurance wouldn't cover it, and even with a discount card, it was $70. My OB said it won't effect bf or the baby.

    I just started Ortho.  My doc said it should only be a problem with milk supply if you were already having a borderline or low supply.  Since my supply is practically an oversupply, he wasn't worried.  He said we can always switch if I start having issues.  There was no worry about risk to DS either.  We went with that one as it is a little more reliable and not as much of an issue if you don't take it at the same exact time every day (which is good for me!).  So far, no issues on the ortho with supply, but it has only been a few days....

    I will take the mini pill. I did that last time and it didn't affect my supply.

    Im taking the mini pill. My doc says  shes old school and would recommend the mini pill just to be safe.

    I don't like the idea of taking hormones systemically while BFing. I'm leaning toward an IUD or just using condoms for a while. However, I BF'd DD1 for a long time, and our imperfect condom use led to DD2, so I'm still researching my options. Good to hear none of you have had supply issues.
