Is it really okay to let my infant sleep?

It's been a little over 4 hours since I last fed my 3 1/2 week old, but he's sound asleep in his car seat after we went to Target to buy him some more diapers. He's been gaining weight just fine, so I'm thinking it's okay that I've let him go this long, but I'm slightly worried. Any advice?

  • let him sleep.  just make sure you keep an eye on him in the car seat to make sure he is ok.  :)

:)  good. even with this being my fourth i have an (irrational?) fear of her slouching down in the carseat & not being able to breathe!  but sleep begets sleep!

  • Just make sure that he eats as much as he wants at his next feeding.... because this may have put his schedule off-course and he may ne hungrier when he wakes up. But yes, I'd definitely let him sleep. =)
