Ear rash?

This is weird, but this past week my son started to get some dry patches on his ear lobes. Both ears at the same time. It's like.. raised dry patches that peel. One ear has gotten better and one ear has gotten worse. It doesn't seem to be bothering him at all and he doesn't have any other symptoms. Does anyone else have any experience with this?

Sounds like cradle cap. DD2 has that too, but she also has it on her scalp.

That is what it looks like, but I didn't realize that they could just get it on their ears! Thanks, girl!
My DD has that always but her's is eczema and sometimes its in the ear as well. I use olive oil, rub it on the crust to soften it the wipe it off.
