cytotec and fertile question..
I had taken my first dose of Cytotec Tuesday evening and my second(last) dose of it 24 hrs later (wednesday) for a missed miscariage that was discovered on that same Tuesday I took the Cytotec. I was 10 wks 5 days, but the baby had passed somewhere around 9 weeks.. my question is, I only had heavy bleeding for maybe a day or so and now it's light. Heavier than spotting but not much. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? Also when do you know if you can ttc again? My doctor said after 1 normal cycle, but I feel what I am feeling now is normal/light normal for me, but can it happen this soon? I was expecting heavy bleeding and cramping but it had been light since Wednesday afternoon/Thursday.. I just don't understand why I am so light.

Okay yeah I hate that everything is a mystery because everyone is different and bodies heal but theres no way of knowing really how "healed" they are...ive just had light bleeding since wednesday afternoon-ish.. it just seems weird b/c my doctor said I could bleed up to 6 weeks, so when it has been only a couple days and it's this light, it just confuses me. My follow up was Thursday and she had prescribed another pill, methylergonovine (methergine) to take for a day in a half, every six hours...I guess it is supposed to flush everything out better or something. Hard to listen when you're talking about the miscarriage and feel the urge to run and get away. But she said i was reocovering fine, but we didn't set up another doctor appt so? Yeah let me know how your doctors appt goes (hopefully good!!) My doctor said it was safe to have sex one week or so after the miscarriage but then said ttc would be good to wait until one normal cycle, but nothing feels normal anymore. Its like I was thrown into a world of wonders and questions. It is okay that you don't have answers, I don't have much of my own either.
Today, well was odd. We had gone out to the commisarry b/c we had to get dog food and then to the bank. Went well. Then work had called and ask how I was doing.. They gave me the rest of the week plus next week off.. this brought back some bad emotions so kindly my husband suggested we go downtown for a bite to eat(not eating much these days and have actually lost 8 lbs since tuesday) I had some chili fries, my doctor said whatever i crave, eat, because any food is good food as long as im eating it (for now). Then walked to a old school ice cream shoppe, MUCH NEEDED for some creamy & delicious "medicine". Went better then yesterday, but no one knew around us so i think that made a difference...

i took cytotec on a monday and passed stuff that night. Then I had spotting for the next 3 days. On Friday, I started cramping again and passed some more stuff. I had heavy bleeding for the 4 days after that, then it turned light-to-spotting. I bled for a total of 25 days. Acutally, yesterday was day 26 and I had no bleeding and today is starting off the same, so lets hope it's over! I had my hcg tested 2 days ago and it was down to 24, so it worked!
My Dr told me to wait 2 cycles which I think is common. I know some Dr's say 1 and some say none. So I would talk to your dr and do what you are both comfortable with.
