their party is from 3:30-5:30 at a big park. we have an indoor party room to have all the food and cake, but i am assuming most people won't want to be inside if the weather is good.
i was thinking of just having snack foods that the kids can eat quickly and spend their time playing- little cups of fruit salad, veggies and dip, chips and pretzels. do you think that is enough, or do i need to do "real" food? it is our family tradition to overfeed, so i don't want to embarrass myself by underfeeding!
Re: help with my boys' birthday party menu
Since the party is pretty close to dinner time, I think that many people may expect dinner. If it were me, and I wanted to have easy snack type foods, I may make my snacks a little "heavier". Maybe a party tray with mini burritos, taquitos OR those tortilla rollup type things with lunch meat and cheese. Pizza is always easy.
So yes, my opinion is that you need a little more.
Good luck!

You could just order mini rolls from your local bakery/grocery store and make up a deli tray. Then people can make their own sandwiches and you don't have all that prep.
