I thought cows milk was to be given at 1 year but I see some people have given their LOs yogurt. The yo baby packs say for babies 6 months and older and it's made with cows milk so now I'm confused. Does anyone have an answer? TIA!
Cow's milk isn't *not* okay for babies 6 months-1 year...it's just not a suitable nutritional substitute for BM or formula. So, you should never give your baby cow's milk to drink before a year, but it is okay for them to have it cooked/mixed into their solid foods (which is all also just a supplement to what should remain a primarily BM/formula diet).
Cow's milk isn't as harmful as they would have you believe anyway. I know several people (myself included) who were put on cow's milk before 1 year, and are perfectly healthy. I projectile vomited non-stop until I was put on CM at 3 months. My sister on the other hand stayed on formula till a year, and she has been constantly sick, and has a list of allergies as long as your arm.

Our pedi told us we could give all products made from cow's milk but not to give whole milk to drink until they are 12 months. He said that cow's milk doesn't have enough nutrients and baby would fill up on that rather than BM and/or formula. He said we could start offering whole milk in a cup at meal time only for practice after 9 months.
Re: Confused about yogurt
I'm glad you asked this; I've been confused about this, too!
