Oing after d&c?

I had a D&C done a week ago.  I've been cramping off and on for the past few days, mostly in my ovaries.  Now it seems like the cramping has settled to one ovary.  During the pregnancy they told me I had a cyst on my ovary but I'm pretty sure it's on the right ovary and it's my left that is hurting now.

I have no idea what my HCG levels are or were at any point as they did not measure them (as far as I know).  Is it possible to ovulate this soon?  It kind of feels like ovulation pains to me.

    It could be possible.  Unless you are charting your temperature it's kind of a guessing game.  Fingers crossed that you are O'ing and AF will be here for you before you know it.  Smile

    I imagine it is possible, but without charting its impossible to know for sure. I started charting again the week following my D&C. I ovulated on cd 23 which is right on target for when I would normally O before getting pregnant (cd21-23). I will say that I had a lot of cramping around when I ovulated which was unusual compared to when I O'd in the past.

    I would recommend that you start charting right away. It has kept me sane and kept me from wondering everyday if AF was going to show up. Since I know when I ovulated, I have a better understanding of my body and when to except my period.

    ETA: At one week post d&c, I was still getting positive hpts. It wasnt until the third week that I got a very very faint positive hpt on a Sunday, that Tuesday was the day I ovulated. If you can, take an hpt once a week until you get  a negative, the line should get lighter and lighter as your hcg drops.

    I thought I had O'd about a week after my D&C and sure enough 3 weeks post op and AF showed up. My levels where way down, and i had actually passed the baby 2 weeks before my D&C. I just had retained placenta, so that might have why I O'd so early after but it does happen.
