giving up nap?

This is kind of a follow up to a previous post I asked yesterday, but....

To those moms whose LOs have given up naps altogether, at what age did that happen? It's taking DD forever to fall asleep at night, and I'm wondering if she is ready to perhaps give it up. (Though that totally freaks me out, with #2 on the way in a few weeks!! Oh well!)

    DD was 2.5.  She does still nap at DC but we can't get her to nap at home.  She will nap in the car with no problem.  So almost every day, we go somewhere and she falls asleep on the way home.  Although it seems like the days she doesn't nap, she falls asleep at night more quickly.  So I think it's probably very likely that your LO is ready to give up naps.

    Well, she skipped her nap today and fell asleep no problem tonight...I'm thinking you're right!
