Hope this isn't too tmi for you all.
I woke up in the am because I had to make the millionth bathroom trip of the morning. Just as I was getting up I felt a rush of liquid come out and I thought "Hmm did I just pee myself for the first time?" I looked down thinking "WTF?". However, I hadn't indeed wet the bed (Thank GOd). I went to the bathroom.. and noticed that my entire underwear was wet but it wasn't near as large as what it felt like (it felt like a huge surge). It happened one more time after that and hasn't since. It was clearish in color from what I recall. Baby has moved a little since--nothing major. Should I bother placing a call to my OB? She's in surgery today and might get back to me sometime later in the day. Anyone have this happen? I'm supposing its discharge that just comes in a larger amount (sorry this is gross)?
Re: Discharge? Leaking?
The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.
First off, once you hit 3rd tri... nothing is really tmi anymore hahaha...
but, I have had that feeling before, and when I called, they asked some questions, and stated I had in fact slightly pee'd myself...
now, everyone is different... if you are worried, at least a call to them may put your mind at ease... GL!
I freaked out the first time this happened and rushed to the doctor where they checked and everything was fine. But it was a very simple test so I didn't feel too bad and was really relieved it was a false alarm. Otherwise I would have spent hours if not days wondering.
I actually got checked the other day when I went in for labor and delivery since my contractions were 7 minutes apart. Again it was just either discharge or pee. Both times was nice to have piece of mind. This second time I had a few big gushes and it just continued like a period kind of feeling. But with that being said some people had the period like feeling and really were leaking.
Anyway if calling gives you piece of mind it wouldnt hurt better to go in and be wrong then stay home and really be leaking.
