Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Oh, another $100 million? Okay

The AP is reporting the MM jackpot is now up to $640 million.

To the posters in the FFFC thread who said all that money would make them uncomfortable, please feel free to throw a couple million my way.

  • I think they should pick 64 winners (or more than that)... Let more than one person have a chance at being a multi-millionare.

I'd take just a couple hundred thousand, I'm not greedy.

I'm greedy, I want at least a million so I can pay for a nice house in cash. A couple hundred thousand wouldn't get us much of a house here (not that I'd turn down a couple hundred Gs...just sayin,)

  • My husband bought like $5 worth just because everyone else was doing it. I would be ok if he just won a couple hundred thousand. I already have my wish list made out. I told him last night that I want to pay off the house, take a nice vacation, buy each of us a new car and build a garage. He asked want I would do if he won the whole thing..... IDK.  I don't think I would want too. People come out of the wood work asking for hand outs and families (and ours would be one of them) would get all pissy about wanting us to share. If we did share they would be pissed about how much they got. I could go on from there but you see my point.

DH and I decided if we ever won we wouldn't tell anyone aside from our family. He'd stay at his job for awhile then quit, citing wanting to go back to school as the reason. I'm already a SAHM and without his job tying us here, we'd be able to move closer to family so if all of a sudden I was rolling up in my BMW my nosy neighbors wouldn't get suspicious. Plus, I don't think I'd give up my sweatshirts and jeans for fancy clothes. I'd probably get my hair done and eyebrows waxed more frequently but that's about it.

I know word would get out a little but I mean we wouldn't be doing press conferences and announcing it on Facebook. lol

  • Well, I have the winning ticket and it won't make me the least bit uncomfortable. I can't wait to spend my 640 million.

  • That kind of money would put you at $25 million a year for the next 26 years.  I'm sure it would be easy to spend most of the money the first year - new, fancy house, cars, pay off parents' mortgages, etc.  But what would you do with the money for the next 25 years?  Don't get me wrong, I'd love that kind of problem, but it stretches the imagination.
