1st Trimester

I think the bump makes me sick :(

I have bad all day sickness. Some days worse than others. For the past week reading posts literally makes me nauseated! Anyone else feel this way?

Also, a vent. Yesterday I was talking to SIL who is pregnant with her second. There has been a little tension over some family drama a few weeks ago. Anyways I told her how lucky she is that she doesn't have m/s and she says "Yeah it's because our genes go good together". So she's trying to say ours don't. Wtf? Pretty sure hormones cause sickness, not genes. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What a b!%*#!  If it didn't implicate her innocent LO, I would totally remind her that women who have m/s have been found to have healthier pregnancies and babies.

I would end it with something classy like, "In your face, bizzo."

Lol yeah, I just left it at "Uh I've been reading that hormones cause it not genes." There's so much more I could b!tch and complain about her... but I'll just leave it at that(:

This is really funny, because I find that when I go to my drop down menu and go to the bump link I instantly get a wave of nausea.  All the reading up on m/s and how to stop it, how long it will last, has left its imprint.  I actually haven't been on in several days and have been looking at wedding dresses on The Knot (I was already married 18 months ago haha).  I also can't go onto Pinterest either due to all the food postings... will the nausea ever end?! haha

Lol how funny. I sure hope it'll end soon! Some ladies are not so lucky. My mom is 38 or 39 weeks pregnant right now and she's had morning sickness the whole pregnancy! I'm praying mine will go away by 2nd tri! I can't wait to actually enjoy a meal. Good luck to you(:

Yea, pinterest is difficult for me too. I scroll quickly through all the food posts in hopes of preventing my nausea from getting worse. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've also noticed that certain post topics on here cause my nausea to worsen too.

  • smh its not genetic. I have family members who had no sickness their first pregnancies and maybe the second or third might have made them so sick. some people have different pregnancies each time......... that was mean.

  • What a doofus lol.

I'd have probably countered "good thing the baby's going to have good genes at least, because if he/she inherits your brains she's going to be in trouble."

Of course, I've found that being pregnant really makes my inner sarcastic bitchy side come out to play more often.

  • I think it makes me nauseous reading about everyone else complaining about being nauseous so I make sure to stay away until I am feeling pretty good!
