Scroll down to the second picture...I seriously think if she made better fashion choices this pregnancy she would have looked so much better and probably wouldn't have received as much criticism. The outfit in the first picture is just atrocious...I mean, I don't "get" fashion so maybe it is stylish, but to my untrained eye it's just fug and doesn't do her any favors. But the second picture with just a plain black dress (even with the fug jacket) she doesn't look so bad and it's much more flattering on her body than the other one, or the snakeskin dress she wore at her shower. I think she looks great in that one.
Re: I'm going to say something positive about Jessica Simpson
The only thing that bothers me about her? I don't think she looks terrible or anything, but she's always trying to justify how big she looks. First her baby was measuring big-now in this article she's got a lot of amniotic fluid. Girl, you gained a lot of weight while pregnant. There's no shame in it-lots of women do. Own it!
DUDE. I didn't even think about this part of the equation....

beta @ 5w0d = 12,026! u/s 4/22/14 @ 8w1d it's twins!
I agree. I also think she looks good in the 3rd pic with the maxi dress.
If she was standing next to other pregnant women IRL, I don't think she'd look that bad.
Tsk tsk tsk. Only my dad's allowed to judge.
Thanks to JS and twatley, I will be trying buttered poptarts for the first time this weekend.
No really. Thanks.
Unable to even.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
I think Pop*Tarts are nasty. I like butter, though.
The cherry ones are good with butter too. ::drools::
CG - Make sure you toast them first so the butter gets all melty. You don't just butter cold pop-tarts. That's gross. They need to be warm.
Dammit. Now I want poptarts and they only have the crap blueberry ones in the machine at work... and no toaster. Or butter. B!TCHES!

WTF is so bad about buttered pop-tarts?
Also, OP, what was your positive comment about JS? I think I missed it.
I agree.
Having gained an enormous amount of weight with my first pregnancy (from 118lbs to 206), I can also say that it's such a mindfcuk. . . and I didn't even have the media breathing down my neck.
No, I didn't eat for 3 or even 2. No GD. No problems. Yes exercise. My metabolism grinds to a halt, I have lots of fluid and big babies, and I retain an astounding amount of water at the end. My weight gain for each pregnancy went down (from 90lbs to 68lbs to 50lbs) but only because I used an inordinate amount of dietary control during my last 2 pregnancies - and with all 3, by my 6wk postpartum, I was down to about the same weight. Crazy.
I feel bad for the girlfriend. She's always had questionable fashion taste, but I wish everyone would leave her alone about the weight.
My Blog
lol, I highly doubt she has anything to do with her line.
I said she looked good in the black dress, though I do think the jacket is ugly.
Buttered pop tarts just sound nasty. blech. I can't even see where butter would be necessary to improve the quality of a pop tart?
