Bathing baby

What do you use to bathe your baby? I've been looking at A+A washcloths, a wash mitt, and a baby natural sea sponge. It seems like a washcloth wouldn't get the necessary lather (I know I hate showering with a washcloth and much prefer the lather of a loofa for myself)

Re: Bathing baby

  • Lather doesn't mean clean - it's just additives that the soap makers put in to their products to make us feel good - seriously.

I mostly use my hands to wash DS, but those cheapo Gerber washcloths and nice and thin to get into the little rolls and folds - don't use anything too thick.

    1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
    2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!

  • If you're looking for something soft, gets in all the little cracks and suds up, go for the cheap looking packages of baby wash cloths at BRU.  Seriously, they are tiny and super thin and look mega cheap and come in a package of 10 or something but they get the job done.  They're still my favorite.

  • same as PP's And lift the arms like a lot.  I noticed I wasn't getting into one roll every time and it was gunky.
