I'd love to say bikini, especially since I just lost 21 lbs (on top of all the baby weight)!! But I now have stretch marks and my tummy just isn't toned up, so tankini it is.
DH wants me to get a bikini for our trip in May, but between my scars from my lap surgery and my stretch marks, I'll feel a lot more comfortable in a tankini, unless I find a really cute one piece.

Great job with the weight loss!!
I'll be doing the one-piece... I have this super cute one that I can rock. I would LOVE to say bikini, but strech marks make me look like I was attacked by a badger.

Im sorry but that last sentence made me LOL! That is exactly how i would descibe my stomach from stretch marks too! I have these 2 that are so so deep those will never fade i bet
I've seen some really cute one-pieces.... While I have zero stretch marks.... I haven't been able to lose the baby weight due to BFing. Yeah, I'm that oddball that didn't lose weight BFing.
I've lost all the weight plus a few lbs, but I still have some loose belly skin, plus I got hit HARD by the stretchmark fairy. I told DH my bikini days are over!
i got a really cute one-piece after dd1 was born due to all of the post-baby tummy pudge. i still have the tummy pudge, so i intend to get more use out of my cute one-piece:

I said tankini, but that's due to the stretch marks that won't go away. I'd be comfortable in a bikini if not for them. I've been very lucky to lose enough to be close to my goal weight. 10 more lbs!!! And, at 5'9" 10 lbs isn't super noticeable on me since it's got a lot of height to work with. Too bad it is in my tummy though, but I'm OK with a bikini and mini-pooch if the marks go away. Even when I was super thin and underweight as a teenager I had a pooch. Damn genetic makeup!

Ouu! Where did you get this? I love polka dots. I found a two piece polka dotted one at the Tommy Hilfigher (sp?) outlet, but I need more support for my breasts. I looked at VS yesterday, but they were mostly neon. I need some underwire in a color that doesn't draw attention.

Love this! I wish I could wear the cute one-pieces that are out now, but because of my tummy pooch, I actually look better in 2-pieces. The tight fabric emphasizes my problem area, whereas if I'm wearing a bikini I can draw attention to my legs or boobs (in a classy way, if that makes sense!)
When I wear tankinis I have to wear the ones that kind of flare out a bit. Also, I think I can't wear one-pieces because I don't have a defined waist which the one-pieces really emphasize!
I voted bikini but that's hinged upon me losing/toning this last 18 pounds. Otherwise it'll be a tankini. I do have some liight stretch marks in front of my hips, but they aren't terrible. But I figure, I worked so hard to lose this 60 lbs, I deserver to show it off.

I bought a one piece from old navy, control max with ruching, coral with white polka dots! Even though I'm back down to prebaby weight, its not fair to make other people see me in a bikini lol
I'm only 1lb heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight, so I was ready to be a hot momma on the beach with DD.
Ill get to rock a bump though, and im pretty stoked about it. I can't wait to flaunt it this year... While I loved being PG when I was with DD, being in the cold weather months I didn't get to show my bump off NEAR as much as I would have like too.
one piece, shorts and a shirt....lol..baby #2 tore.me.up...gained 60lbs, but was still up 30 from #1 and have only lost 40...certain things can never see the light of day again...

i got it two years ago, so i don't think this exact pattern is being sold anymore, although there are probably others in the same style. it's made by Ballet and the style is Acapulco. it has a tighter lining that provides some tummy control, which i desperately need. built in underwire bra.

I had a lot of trouble, both getting pregnant and being pregnant. But stretch marks arethe one thing I didn't get! I feel lucky b/c I know it's just luck of the draw. So bikini it is!
Not that I was ever going to be a bikini model, but my stomach will never see the light of day again. It's covered in bright red stretch marks. Covered.
I voted one piece, but a conservative tankini would work, too.

Congrats!! It's so hard to find time with a little one. Be proud
I hope to be in a bikini by summer. I wore a tankini on our cruise this past week. I felt horribly fat even in that. I joined WW and started C25K yesterday, so bring on the beach body! I was lucky to avoid all stretch marks, so all that's stopping me is me and excessive amounts of food right now.
I'm wearing my old swimsuit- which is a 2-peice with a bit more coverage (not a string bikini). I have not lost all the baby weight, still have stretch marks and a flabby tummy, and was not a skinny-minny to begin with. I'm a size 12 and will rock my 2-peice because I can, and am comfortable with my body. If no one wants to see my jiggly thighs and tummy, then they don't have to look

DH used to joke the baby was trying to claw its way out.
Rocked a bikini on our trip to Cabo and felt very proud of myself. I still have some toning up to do but felt ok enough to not go out and buy all new suits. However I did have to buy some new tops because these milk makers didnt fit in the old ones.

I'm going with a bikini this summer. I was very lucky not to get stretch marks and I'm basically back to my pre-baby body. However, gone are the days of string bikinis. My boobs are NOT where they used to be so I will be looking for a bikini with some lift up top!
DH wants me to get a bikini for our trip in May, but between my scars from my lap surgery and my stretch marks, I'll feel a lot more comfortable in a tankini, unless I find a really cute one piece.
You have visible scars from your lap? I'm surprised. I have two itty bitty stitches just about my pubic bone (easy to hide) and one in my belly button that you wouldn't notice unless I pointed it out.
I voted tankini since I bought one while I was pregnant...I don't have stretch marks or anything but I'm not confident enough for bikini yet...we'll see if my weight miraculously drops by 20lbs between now and summer.

I haven't lost any from BFing either. I got a cute one piece from Old Navy that helps suck everything in, and I am either walking/ jogging or hittng the gym most days of the week now so I hope to look and feel better by M's birthday.
