daycares at the gym

DH signed us both up for LA Fitness like 3 weeks ago and I have not gone yet because I hate to leave DD with the people at the gym. She would cry the entire time. I just know. I have not taken a tour or even been in the gym. He pretty much signed me up without me officially saying yes. Now that the weather is nice too I would rather spend time outside and I would also rather find a way to exercise with DD. Does anyone on here bring their LO to gym baby sitters while they workout?

    My husband's sisters work at a gym's childcare. They're both fantastic with children. 

    I dont' have a gym membership, but if I had a membership, I'd leave P with them at this age. I wouldn't do it younger than here, but P is pretty easy to handle now.

    I have been taking Timmy for 1.5 years now and Nick since he was about 8 weeks to the Y gym daycare. It;s the best thing I've done for them well one of the best.... It teaches them you leave but you come back. It helps them with separation.

    It took Timmy a while before he wouldn't cry when I left. It killed me to leave him but he got used to it. For the most part now he doesn't want to leave. It's nice too because you're still in the building but you get a much needed break away along with a workout. Just don';t expect to get a good workout before lo is acclimated to being there.

    Usually they will come get you if LO is extremely upset and inconsolable. Most that I know of don't change diapers. I don't know where you live or which LA Fitness you use but  I have a friend in GA who loved their daycare.

    You might want to find out when they are the least busy too so LO isnt overwhelmed with the amount of kids. Always try and go at the same time or when the same staff is working. And consistency is key too to help.

    How do you know she'd cry the entire time? 

    I'd leave Gabe with a daycare at a gym.
