soy vs. almond milk

I believe my LO has a slight allergy to whole milk so we have been giving her soy. Is almond milk better or more nutritional then soy? Does it have more good fat in it?

I would avoid soy milk. Among other things, soy is a common allergen and it's estrogenic.

We are avoiding soy due to above reasons mentioned.  DD drinks Coconut milk and has been doing well.  Just read labels and make sure that it has plenty of calcium.  Brands differ.  I like the TJ's brand because it is shelf stable too.

Yes, it doesn't matter whether it's organic or not.

We give DS Silk Vanilla flavored Coconut milk. It was the closest in calories and fat to WCM or 2% milk that we could find, and DS actually likes it. Brands differ in calories/protein/fat. The only place I have found the Silk brand Coconut milk is Target. For when we are out and about we use the shelf stable SoDelicious brand individual packs of coconut milk..they are 6.5 oz each.

We use Enriched Rice Milk for DD. Prior to rice milk, she had been on soy formula. I did not want to continue with soy long term, but the pedi said it was okay...though he usually recommends Almond or Rice.
