Anyone else finding they are prone to nosebleeds?

I'm not sure why, but both times I've been pregnant (mc)....I seem to always have a bloody nose.  Its not that big of a deal, but I'm curious if it happens to anyone else?

    Yes, I've been having this issue too!!!
    2/11 Diagnosis: DOR-AMH .62, LPD and MFI-4% Morph
    IVF #1-July 2011 7/9/11-Started Stims
    7/20/11-ER:No eggs in 4/5 follicles. Left the 5th follie intact and converted to an IUI
    8/3/11-Beta #1=BFN,
    Nov, 2011 BFP #1=m/c at 7 wks 3 days
    11/11-AMH .47, IVF #2 March 2012...or not!! Surprise BFP on 2/19. Beta #1=161. Beta #2 305 Our little miracle girl is on her way! Due Oct 29, 2012

    Me too! Surprises me sometimes...

    IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP
    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    me too, lots of nasal issues, the doctor said there's just such an increase of blood flow from being pregnant, may cause nasal passages to swell, etc.

    i've had a constant bloody/stuffy/runny nose the past few months, it's annoying, i can't go anywhere without tissues lol

    Yes. The only time I ever get nosebleeds is while pregnant. My OB, MFM, and hematologist have all said it's normal. Especially since I'm on blood thinners.

    3/06 - m/c 1st baby at 6 weeks 
    5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
    D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    Yep both time I have been PG I have dealt with them.  It seems to be worse 1st and 2nd tri.

    Totally normal V!  Mine were so bad they had to take me off aspirin because they wouldn't stop once they started and it was either head to the ER every time or stop the aspirin.  Once I stopped the aspirin my nosebleeds stopped.

    Something to look forward to!  I got these all the time when I was a kid, whenever the weather turned dry.  I wonder if the same tricks work for pregnant ladies (humidifier in bedroom... and once it starts, cold washcloth on face while applying pressure).  I also sometimes put Vaseline inside my nose... sounds gross but it works!

    Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

    IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.

    Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

    Absolutely!! First one scared me to death! I have maybe had two nosebleeds my whole life prior to pg. My first was around week 7. It was so bad by the time hubby got back to me with paper towels there was a puddle in my hand! I was relieved to hear it's a normal side effect. GL V.

    Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
    2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
    After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!

    every morning of my first tri i had one. but once i started taking claritind for my allergies they got better. i also stop taking lovenox which i'm sure helped too.

    Yep!  I have a few. Supposedly it's a fairly common symtom. They suggest sleeping with a humidifier.

    I'm not having nosebleeds but man when I blow my nose it's really bloody!

    i did with my first two (c/p) but not this time.  I think my allergies are so bad it's keeping everything well lubed LOL.  pg women's capillaries expand - causing that heightened smell and nose bleeds.

    I haven't, but I read that it's a common occurence.

    I'm so glad you posted this b/c I had one this morning and was wondering if it had anything to do with being pregnant!  Glad I'm not alone. I've notice blood almost every time I blow my nose too.  Gross.

    Yes! I just noticed this on Tuesday. It's not bleeding out of the blue or anything but my allergies have been awful this week and when I blow my nose...there it is (ewwww).

    I'm not having nosebleeds, but my nose is incredibly congested and much of the time there is blood when I blow my nose.

    Yep, me too. They aren't gushing nosebleeds, but there is always blood in there.

    yes, frequently while i was PG. sometimes really bad! i remember reading why it happened, but i can't remember right now...
