Beta HCG sloooowly coming down

Hi all, I didn't plan on another post today, but I just heard from my doctor's office and as of yesterday's blood draw, my beta HCG level is at 17 (down from 27.2 on Friday) and I'm now 13 days post 2nd D&C. I can't believe the incredible sense of relief that comes from knowing these numbers are coming down after what's been more than a month since the actual mc.
I know that "normal" won't mean the same thing anymore, but it does give me some hope to know I'm making my way toward some new kind of "normal." I have an u/s tomorrow morning that will hopefully just be more confirmation. Thanks for all of the support. I don't know what I would have done without this board as a safe space to just let it all out

yay for good news. It is a big relief and hopefully it will help you feel better. I feel the same way about "normal"... i just want to go back to as close to normal as i can be...even though this is the type of event that will forever change a person.
