So Sad

I had my first ultrasound last Thursday, saw the babies heartbeat and left feeling amazing. Friday they called and wanted me to come for another Ultrasound, something wasn't looking right. Went yesterday and they couldn't find the baby or the gestational sac. It had collapsed. I am scheduled for a D&C tomorrow and absolutely heartbroken.. I can't function.... I loved this little baby so much.. Now I will never meet her.. or him....

I am sorry... I have been there. Back in Nov. It is horrible and hard, and very isolating b/c even your husband can't understand how deep the pain cuts as a male without ovaries

Take care of yourself, take a fun trip with DH, go to the spa. I made it a point to indulge in as many things as possible I couldn't do pregnant.... Drink alcohol, eat soft cheese, sushi, skiing, hot yoga, fun trips, cute fitted clothing and lingerie. I also read a few Christain books on m/c that really helped. It takes time, that is all I can say. The pain does subside, but then some days that pain comes back in waves, and you just have to face it. T&P!
